How do I homeschool my 6yr old as we travel up the coast of Australia? - homeschool travel

We drove down the coast of Australia in Sydney on a boat. I need to know how best to educate my old 6YR best way to homeschool, via the Internet or by mail?
How can I do? Can someone help me? Has anyone been?

I guess you have not been taught at home. An approach that ... especially since his son is so young is not informed, and enjoy your surroundings. What a fabulous training you learn everything you learn about Australia. I want this and only "live" experience focus as a whole. I have a 5.5 years and started this year trying to "school" at home and were both very frustrated. I have worked with many parents of HS and not a lot of research and although I use the word "school" is basically what we may do not talk. Enter "unschooling" in Google and find many sites that provide information about how to do and how it works. Enjoy your trip and you are not on the child's education if it is the educational experience of a lifetime.

6 years? Super awesome! It's so easy and fun for the moment. Slide the reading and mathematics. Carschooling Consider the purchase of the book ", which is for learning on the fly is ideal. Go to WalMart store or school and you get a "comprehensive curriculum grade 1 and 2. These books are for sale on eBay, too. They cover a wide range of topics! Then take a piece of white paper ( for art, math problems, the history of the drawings), and blank cards (for making flash cards!) and pencils and books. Getting good books like "Where the Red Fern Grows" and "Lion, Witch, Wardrobe" or "Charlotte's Web", etc., etc. to make the reading and math.

I'm so jealous! Can I?

Is not it great! I grew up in the mission field and the home of my adoptive parents enrolled me at the beginning. It was very informal, with the main objective set myself to learn at an age appropriate manner.

I want a list of things that you start your child should be able to do so on their age and design studios. Most boards the ability of the state / Index rating.

For example, most children were / are learning the alphabet and read about his age - even if they differ, as some children more quickly and others later, usually around 6 to 9, learning child learns to read in its entirety. This is one of the best things about home schooling, you need not force a child to learn before they are really ready to do so, and when they learn they are not under the name of winning! I am certainly not the little darling was sitting and studying a book when it's sunny outside and it will be fun, but if you're bored or the weather turns, poultry and a few tips for you dive ready. ThaIt will not make it fun for her. Have a great time!

Ok. Just enjoy the experience! Action learning about the area, the sea, ocean life, coastal life, customs, the history of the city (where it stopped), and wind, tide graph, keeping track of mileage nodes / / use of gasoline, a diary of what you do to keep each day - photos, send if necessary, write postcards home to learn the conditions of sailing and the history, cooking, life!

What fun!

Have fun and do not stress about school, "Education is just enough to do you.
